The Agricultural Sustainability diploma program is designed for students interested in a career that combines their passion for the agriculture industry as well as an appreciation for stewardship and sustainability. This program is a collaboration between the School of Agriculture Sciences and the School of Environmental Sciences to deliver well developed course material in common agricultural production practices, foundational plant, soil and livestock science, ecology and habitat management and monitoring technologies. Practical, hands-on experience will be a focus to produce students who are able to critically think and problem solve, balancing the need for food production while remaining sustainable economically, socially and environmentally.

Admission Requirements

High school diploma with a minimum of 50% in:

  • English 30-1 or 65% English 30-2
  • Math 20-1 or Math 20-2
  • Biology 20, Chemistry 20, Physics 20 or Science 20

This program is eligible for full-time post-secondary assistance by Alberta Student Aid for the funding year 2023/08/01 to 2024/07/31*.

  • Mandatory Fees $916.00 Year One
