Admission Requirements
I. Upon Enrolment: A. Standard Student: a) Alberta high school diploma, verified by transcript, with 50% or better in Grade 12 English OR b) Successful completion of the General Equivalency Diploma (GED) with a score of 450 in Language Arts (Reading and Writing) B. Mature Student: a) At least 18 years of age. b) Satisfactory results of ABHI admission test namely the Wonderlic SLE test with a passing mark of 20 points. Language Proficiency Requirements: Canadian English Language Benchmark (CLB) 6 in all strands OR The International English Language Testing System (IELTS) 5 band score. Successful completion of interview with an admission officer. II. Prior to Practicum/Practical Experience: a) Students must have a valid and current Police Information Check with Vulnerable Sector Check. b) Up -to- date immunization records
