Admission Requirements
ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS I. Upon Enrolment A. Standard Student Students must meet ONE of the following criteria:  Alberta High school diploma, verified by transcript, or non-Alberta equivalent. ? High school diplomas that are not from Canada must be verified by IQAS or the World Education Services Gateway Program. OR  Successful completion of General Equivalency Diploma (GED) B. Mature Student Student must meet the following criteria:  At least 18 years of age or over in Alberta and other provinces where applicable OR  At least 19 years of age or over in British Columbia OR  At least 21 years of age or over in Nova Scotia  At least one year out of high school  Satisfactory results of ABHI admission test namely the Wonderlic SLE Test with a passing mark of 50% OR Successful result of Language Proficiency Exam ? Canadian English Language Benchmark (CLB) 7 in all strands ? The International English Language Testing System (IELTS) 5 band score ? TOEFL internet-based test overall score of 83 ? Duolingo Minimum required score of 95 ? Canada English Index Proficiency Program(CELPIP) General 7 With no section below 6 ? Canadian Academic English Language(CAEL) Minimum score of 60 ? Pearson Test English(PTE) Minimum score of 65 ? CanTest average score of 4.5 C. Successful interview with an admission officer for all applicants D. Valid and current Police Information Check II. Prior to Practicum/Practical Experience For students enrolled in Health and Education programs.  CPR Certificate  Up-to-date immunization records
