Event Management Operations Specialization

Event Managers are versatile in their abilities to lead, strategize, collaborate, and facilitate stakeholder-defined outcome targets. Able to understand shifting demographics an Event Management graduate will maintain healthy industry relationships while attracting, motivating, and retaining industry partners, staff, and volunteers. Once students have completed their 175 hours, there will be a capstone project for them to complete that will integrate all of their learnings into a final project.
The industry experts helped us to determine the outcomes of the Event Management Program to ensure that graduates of the program will be able to:
- Generate and integrate creative ideas that translate into experiences that fulfill stakeholder requests
- Implement event management tools and industry processes required to execute and evaluate an event as defined by stakeholders
- Create and implement an adaptable integrated marketing communication strategy specific to an event
- Build, manage, and maintain relationships that reflect professional and ethical leadership
