Admission Requirements
Admission Requirements All applicants should provide proof of satisfactory completion of training in a discipline with a focus on human anatomy, physiology from a recognized institution. This can include, but not limited to, the following disciplines:  Kinesiology  Chiropractic  Nursing  Physiotherapy  Fitness  Massage Therapy (CIOT offers a pre-course evaluation and examination to registered massage therapists with 2200hrs or more.)  Traditional Chinese Medicine  Be competent in English Language, reading, written, and spoken CLBA 7 in each strand  TOEFL Interned-based test score 71 (overall score) PBT:560  IELTS Academic 6.0, with no band score below 5.0  CAEL score of 60  CIOT also considers applicants with extensive "life skills" who can also demonstrate sufficient proficiency in their knowledge of Anatomy and Physiology prior to commencement of the course  Must be 18 years of age or older
