- Browse the internet to find info on specific companies.
- Take some courses related to occupations that interest you. Or arrange informational interviews with people who work in those occupations.
- Check out these occupational videos to learn what real people have to say about their occupations.
- Arrange some job shadowing. Find mentors who will let you spend time with them at work.
- Do some volunteering to learn what specific occupations and workplaces are really like.
