In order to apply to both member and leader jobs, applicants will need to create a candidate profile and submit their application on the job board. Both leaders and members must complete a fitness test and ParQ form as part of their application.
Application Documents for the JFR Member Position:
Before you apply, check that you are using the correct documents for the year you are applying. Your complete application must include:
Resume: You can use your own template. Remember to include: Your first and last name, high school and current grade, any volunteer or work experience you have, and any certifications you’ve earned. No previous experience is required
.JFR Cover Letter: You must use our JFR Cover Letter Template. If you answer the questions in a separate Word document, include all questions and information from the template. Bold each question and make sure your answers are clearly separated and easy to read.
Two Reference Letters: Reference letters can be in any format. If it’s helpful, you’re welcome to use our JFR Reference Letter Template.
All documents must be completed and attached to your JFR Crew Member application on the GoA Job Board by April 1st of the application year.
Application for the JFR Leader and Sub-Leader Position:
JFR Leader and Sub Leader applications are also submitted through the GoA Job Board
