Exciting updates for career advisors in June 2026
Alis is excited to connect with career advisors through the Western Canada Career Development Association.
What’s new on alis
Alis has just introduced several helpful updates and articles to help you advise your clients on their career journey.
New occupational videos
Ten new “day in the life” style occupational videos have been published on alis to provide insight into these occupations:
Introduce Find Your Fit
With our new comprehensive Find Your Fit occupational match quizzes, our prior Abilities and Interests exercises will be retired. They have been replaced by Work Personalities Quiz (Holland Codes) and Abilities Quiz, respectively. The aforementioned exercises will remain up for the foreseeable future and have a notice about the change. We suggest familiarizing yourself with the new Find Your Fit section so your clients can have the best experience on alis.
Four new career advice articles published on alis
The alis team has added four new articles to alis. Three of these articles focus on disabilities and neurodiversity in career planning. One is focused on rural and remote career planning in Alberta.
Our impact
Over the last fiscal year, we have had 3.6 million visits, and 14 million pageviews. With the changing technology and rise of generative AI, we have also seen our data cited in AI platforms. Since tracking this data in June of 2025, we have had 52,529 citations, which is a 20% citation share. Our AI visibility score is ranked number one at 52% of the share. This shows that the alis data is valuable and being used on these AI platforms for career planning and job seekers.
